Plenary session of the RSS „Solidarnost“ and Application for full status membership of European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC)

From 7 to 10 of May in Becici, Montenegro, was held plenary session of the RSS „Solidarnost“on which were discussed several topics, including cooperation with the International Trade Union Confederation and the creation of a regional database of collective agreements.

Youth Committee held a session who looked at the already initiated and planned organizing campaigns and the active measures for youth employment in countries that are members of the RSS „Solidarnost“.

At this meeting as representatives of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Macedonia attended, Blagoja Ralpovski and Zoran Antovski, and as representatives of the youth were Dejan Stojanovski and Darko Maksimov.

But this event is of special significance for KSS since it was held an official meeting of the KSS President and Deputy General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation Josef Niemetz . The aim of the meeting was the reception of KSS to the ETUC as a full member. KSS is still with the status of a member-observer without right to vote in the decision making bodies of ETUC.

Тhe application for membership was delivered to the Deputy Secretary General Josef Niemetz, for which there was a positive reaction and which will be reviewed in some of the next meetings of the ETUC.
