Mission of the delegation of ITUC/PERC visits KSS
On 7 and 8 July 2016 the delegation of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) through the Pan-European Regional Council (PERC) visited Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Macedonia KSS with mission for admission KSS as a full member of the ITUC.
The delegation of ITUC / PERC were the Executive Secretary of ITUC / PERC, Mr. Anton Leppik, Office coordinator of ITUC / PERC, office Sarajevo Mrs. Enisa Salimovikj and Vice President of PERC Mrs. Maria Hanzhevachki.
The delegation met with all levels of the structure of KSS first with the Executive Board of KSS where were reviewed issues of the labor movement in Macedonia, as well as achievements taht KSS has in the labor movement in Macedonia, as well as other issues in the domain the operation of the union.
Meeting with representatives of youth and women structures in KSS covered issues and experiences regarding the objectives and priorities of the work of these structures and their further planned activities.
Within their mission they visited the trade union organization of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund.
The delegation attended a session of the Executive Board of the main trade union organization of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund where was discussed previously signed collective agreement in the Pension and Disability Insurance, and discussion about issues regarding the way of organizing membership, access, information and services they receive.
At the end of this successful visit the delegation expressed satisfaction of the visit, as well as representatives of KSS and there were agreed further actions in order to successfully complete the mission and achieve the mutual goal, receiving KSS as a full member of the ITUC in order to develop better cooperation and development of international relations.
