Study visit of KSS from participants from Serbia, Montenegro and Slovenia

On 23.05.2017 in the offices of Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Macedonia there was study visit from participants from youth organizations from Serbia, Montenegro and Slovenia as part of the project  “Brain drain, Brain gain + Circular migration”, which VCS is implementing together with MEMOS from Germany in Erasmus+ Programme.

Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Macedonia had introduced the participants with the work of the trade union and how the trade union is organized. The main issues that were tackled during the study visit were youth unemployment, youth migration and the brain drain of the youth. It was discussed about these questions and the main similarities and main differences were determined across the countries about the factors that cause youth migration and measures that need to be implemented in order to keep the young people and improve the economic and social position of the youth as specific category of citizens that are facing different challenges/difficulties compared with the other age groups.
